About Me
I am a man who loves to think.
Background & Heritage
Born in Tirana, Albania and raised in Boston (technically Somerville) since the age of 3, I am a first-generation immigrant and college student. My journey led me to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst with dual degrees: a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Philosophy.
Family is the cornerstone of my life - my father Gezim, mother Irfane, and sister Dea Dodi have been my constant source of inspiration and support. Their influence has shaped my values and drive for excellence in all pursuits. Since I was 18, I felt like I couldn't turn to anyone and decided to face all my problems alone. It took a good 7 years to realize that no I am not alone. My family and I work as a unit. They are there for me, to support me, and to help me whenever I need it.
Regardless of me stating I am Albanian and raised in Boston, I don't really believe in countries at all, and believe Earth would be a much happier and better place if we removed these imaginary lines from our maps. Only humans can see these lines after all! And with people around Earth being overwhelmingly similar, we all belong under one flag and one condition. But... money, primitivity, and quite frankly, sins don't allow this to happen.
Professional Expertise
I started my career as a Machine Learning Engineer, with a particular interest in building supervised and unsupervised models focused on time-series data, Transformers, and LSTM networks. I did extensive work in dimensionality reduction and routinely handled datasets terabytes in size.
I then transitioned to working with Generative AI full time, building agentic systems and complex AI workflows with Google ADK, LangChain, LangGraph, FastMCP, and others. My work includes developing RAG models for provisional patent creation, SQL database agnostic agents, financial tooling agents, meta-agents for agent creation automation.
As a full-stack engineer, I work with FastAPI for backend development, complemented by Tailwind CSS, HTMX, and AlpineJS for frontend solutions. I will occasionally write things in React too for frontend work.

Philosophy transcends mere academic pursuit in my life - it's a fundamental lens through which I perceive reality. My philosophical interests primarily center on metaphysics and ethics, where I find the most profound questions about existence and moral behavior intersect.
Baruch Spinoza's geometric approach to understanding God in his book "Ethics" particularly resonates with me. His method of starting with clearly defined axioms and propositions and following a mathematical approach to define God - a definition remarkably parallel to the Indian philosophical notion of Brahman - fascinated me and has remained as my favorite definition of God so far. His pantheistic worldview, where God is not a supernatural being but rather the immanent cause of all that exists, and all that exists are "modes" of God, provides a bridge between rational thought and spiritual understanding.
Immanuel Kant's "Critique of Pure Reason" has profoundly shaped my understanding of knowledge and human cognition. His intricate exploration of how the mind structures experience through categories and forms of intuition opened new ways of thinking about reality itself. The book's notorious difficulty - with its dense terminology and complex arguments - makes each rereading a fresh intellectual adventure, revealing new layers of insight about the limits and possibilities of human reason. His categorical imperative, developed in his moral philosophy, provides a compelling framework that I find particularly relevant for navigating ethical challenges in our contemporary world. Also, hot take, but I feel like Kant basically unlocked everything that hadn't been unlocked in Philosophy, as in, most philosophers after him can be traced to his thinking.
Soren Kierkegaard's profound analysis of anxiety in "The Concept of Anxiety" provides a fascinating counterpoint to pure rationalism. His definition of anxiety as the dizzying awareness of our own freedom and possibilities - what he calls "the dizziness of freedom" - illuminates a fundamental aspect of human experience that pure reason alone cannot capture. His exploration of how this existential anxiety relates to faith and his concept of the 'leap of faith' reminds us that some truths must be lived rather than merely contemplated, resonating deeply with modern psychological insights about the human condition.
I have also read quite a bit of Eastern Philosophy, because its ignored and for some reason not given the respect European Philosophy gets. Indian Metaphysics, Chinese Ethics, and the I-Ching are absolute reads.
Personal Interests
Martial Arts Journey
My dedication to martial arts spans five years of intensive training across Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and MMA. This journey has led to notable competitive achievements, including first-place victories in both Gi and No-Gi divisions at the NAGA New England Grappling Championship and a third-place finish at IBJJF. These experiences have not only honed my physical abilities but also reinforced the values of discipline, perseverance (through injuries), and strategic thinking.
Classical Guitar
Classical guitar serves as my artistic outlet, where I find solace in the intricate compositions of master guitarists. My repertoire includes challenging pieces like Agustin Barrios' "La Catedral" and "Julia Florida", Francisco Tarrega's "Capricho Arabe", and, adding a unique twist, arrangements of RuneScape theme songs that bridge my gaming and musical interests.
Gaming & Productivity
Old School RuneScape has become an unexpected ally in my coding productivity, its AFK (away-from-keyboard) training methods allowing me to maintain game progress while focused on development work. In the competitive gaming sphere, I'm an avid Super Smash Bros Melee player, maining Samus with Sheik as my secondary. I also play Dota 2, offlane Vengeful Spirit, carry Faceless Void, and support Disruptor. I am always down to play a couple games with anyone.
Family & Feline CFO
No discussion of my personal life would be complete without mentioning Agula, my cat and self-appointed Chief Financial Officer. Her impeccable attention to resource management - particularly her bowl's fill level - makes her the perfect CFO. She firmly believes that a bowl that's anything less than full represents a serious fiscal crisis, a mindset that would make any real CFO proud!
